The Hawk’s Sand Dunes in Nova Scotia

Sand Dunes in Nova Scotia

JustĀ behind this sand dune is the lighthouse at The Hawk Beach, the southernmost point in Nova Scotia. Open to the North Atlantic weather and the largest tide flow in the world as it enters the Bay of Fundy, this point of land is often a dramatic and dangerous place. Sand dunes move across the flat landscape driven by the high winds and tumultuous seas.
