The HMCS Venture was a three-masted schooner built for the Royal Canadian Navy as a training ship in 1937. She served in World War 2 at Halifax Nova Scotia and was the second vessel commissioned by the Royal Canadian Navy to bear the name Venture. The Venture serves as such until May 13 1947 when she was renamed as the Harbour Craft 190, she was renamed once more to Alfred and Emily and served as a coal carrier until she was lost to explosion off Bellburns Newfoundland on October 3 1951.
